(yea!) Tomorrow night I am having a workshop and wanted to showcase how fun and simple it is to create digitally. This page is just that, very simple, but would you believe it only took about 5-10 minutes! Think of the possibilities! <div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/TKQC9Ct4OaI/AAAAAAAAAUM/o7KqAhSMbnE/s1600/Stampin+Up.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5522542290787645858" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/TKQC9Ct4OaI/AAAAAAAAAUM/o7KqAhSMbnE/s400/Stampin+Up.jpg" /></a></div><div> </div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-4344041541578671282010-09-28T16:01:00.000-07:002010-09-28T16:10:20.109-07:00More Digi Scrappin!Hi friends, <div>More Digi-scrapped fun to share! I admit I struggle with <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">consistant</span> blog updates..life gets in the way sometime. But in my absence I have been trying new things, learning new stuff and now I am excited to share it out here in blog land. Originally I started this blog as an avenue to play along with some of the challenges and design opportunities out there as well as to promote my <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Stampin</span> Up business. While I am still a demo for <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">Stampin</span> Up, this blog will be a little more broad. I hopefully will be showcasing products and techniques not necessarily exclusive to one particular area. I like lots of stuff, and hopefully you'll like what I have to show and come back and visit me often! <div><div>I love to scrapbook, and recently became introduced to Digital <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">Scrapbooking</span>. I admit to not being a computer pro--and am <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">definately</span> a work in progress, but I have had so much fun playing around the last couple days with some great kits from <a href="http://scrapthatidea.com/">Stacey Scraps at Scrap That Idea</a>! These trees can be used in so many ways, for this card I wanted to have green trees, to remember that Spring really is on its way! I stamped the tops in Garden Green, Kiwi Kiss, and Old Olive, then used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the tree trunks, which I stamped in Basic Brown and then layered on Old Olive cardstock. I added a little red sentiment using Real Red, tied a little ribbon on and there you have it~ Thanks for stopping by!</span></div><div><span style="font-size:100%;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZxRS2j26-I/AAAAAAAAATA/mj7Ja1kENQE/s1600-h/trendycard2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5304203845461011426" style="WIDTH: 264px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZxRS2j26-I/AAAAAAAAATA/mj7Ja1kENQE/s320/trendycard2.jpg" border="0" /></a></span></div><div><span style="font-size:100%;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZxRTDvR5ZI/AAAAAAAAATI/qqzDjSIgwX8/s1600-h/trendycard.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5304203848998577554" style="WIDTH: 247px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZxRTDvR5ZI/AAAAAAAAATI/qqzDjSIgwX8/s320/trendycard.jpg" border="0" /></a></span></div><div><span style="font-size:100%;">[</span></div></div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-63582776529604177412009-02-17T17:54:00.000-08:002009-02-17T18:08:35.904-08:00Trying to find some mojo....I've been struggling lately trying to come up with some ideas for cards and scrapbook pages....I haven't been 100% happy with anything I've made lately but oh well...I suppose it will get better~at least I hope it does! These are two way simple cards I made a little while ago, I just HAD to have that daisy stamp and the poor thing had yet to see ink...now that I've finally broke it out I can't wait to play with it a little more. I have really been loving kraft cardstock these days, I think most of my projects the last month or so have used it in one way or another! Anyway these cards as I said are pretty simple and straight forward...hope you like them, Thanks for stopping by! <div><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZtsfT8gSNI/AAAAAAAAAS4/-oUalMFb61w/s1600-h/thankyou.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303952271344683218" style="WIDTH: 260px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZtsfT8gSNI/AAAAAAAAAS4/-oUalMFb61w/s320/thankyou.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZtsfOCNQyI/AAAAAAAAASw/yBBHdq59p1A/s1600-h/your%27reonmymind.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303952269757989666" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 256px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SZtsfOCNQyI/AAAAAAAAASw/yBBHdq59p1A/s320/your%27reonmymind.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>[</div><div> </div></div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-29524404072645293802009-01-20T14:39:00.001-08:002009-01-20T15:32:05.136-08:00Hi World...I'm BackSo I have been on a blogging break, while I tried to survive the holidays...but now its a NEW Year, full of NEW opportunities, NEW ideas and best of all a NEW Stampin Up Catalog! Last Thursday was our monthly Stamp Club and I think we made some fun projects. Our hostess for the month, made all the girls these adorable notebooks with the Flower Layers dies, so CUTE! <div><div><div><div>Our first project used the Mark The Date and Full Calendar stamp sets <span style="font-size:78%;">(found on page 126 of the new catty)</span> We stamped the calendar in Basic Black, and the months in a variety of Stampin Up colors! It was pretty simple to assemble, if you want exact measurements leave me a comment and I'll post them. </div><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SXZTsnt8clI/AAAAAAAAAR4/7cFQQDiEgyk/s1600-h/desk+calender.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5293510438061634130" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 302px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SXZTsnt8clI/AAAAAAAAAR4/7cFQQDiEgyk/s320/desk+calender.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />The current month hangs with a clip adhered to the front with glue dots, while the months not in use sit in the pocket on the back, I just folded up the Kraft c/s and held it together with the twine from the Holiday Mini <span style="font-size:78%;">(now discontinued).</span><br /></div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SXZTs20SpWI/AAAAAAAAASA/CB14YlDyFu8/s1600-h/markthedate.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5293510442114786658" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 223px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SXZTs20SpWI/AAAAAAAAASA/CB14YlDyFu8/s320/markthedate.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>I thought this was a great way to start off 2009, a little calender perfect for the kitchen counter, next to the computer, or a desk at work!</div><div></div><div>For our next project I wanted to use the Valentines Bundle, I am loving this cute Valentine set Love You Much <span style="font-size:78%;">(pg27) </span><span style="font-size:100%;">The bundle includes, the Love You Much stampset, coordinating paper Candy Lane, and cute new punch Heart to Heart...all packaged together at a 20% savings! A friend decided to collect a bunch of cards and send them in and asked for any donations. She mentioned there was a need for holiday cards, so here was my contribution. <div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPenXWKxDhI/AAAAAAAAAQo/7rl4ECyVZQs/s1600-h/herocard2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5257855109507911186" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPenXWKxDhI/AAAAAAAAAQo/7rl4ECyVZQs/s320/herocard2.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>I wanted to make something that would be simple and easy to mass produce. I loved how this card sparkled...oops did I say sparkle....I forgot on my friends blog there was a mention not to use any glitter or rhinestones, or basically any form of holiday "bling" because it can mess with the heat vision goggles, and also make soldiers stand out...so I modified the card and took away the Dazzling Diamond glitter, I liked the original better but I understand the reasons...so here is my non-shiny version</div><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPenXhTADNI/AAAAAAAAAQw/SBc3KmyRK44/s1600-h/card1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5257855112495238354" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPenXhTADNI/AAAAAAAAAQw/SBc3KmyRK44/s320/card1.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>I wish you could see the dimension a little better, the Baja Breeze cs is popped out with dimensionals kindof shadowboxing the snowflake. I used craft cs for my base and embossed my sentiment in Winter White ep. I absolutely LOVE this cute little snowflake punch...I see myself putting that little cutie to work on alot of Christmas cards and tags. I mentioned before that I {heart} Halloween and so I decided to have a "Trick or Treat" theme, all of our projects were different ideas to share treats...</div><div></div><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDp53aij9I/AAAAAAAAAQI/GYFqDdkLEK4/s1600-h/clubnite.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5255957945478451154" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDp53aij9I/AAAAAAAAAQI/GYFqDdkLEK4/s320/clubnite.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div></div><div>Our first project was this cute little bat...we covered a york peppermint paddy with a few punched out pieces of paper..seriously SO SIMPLE! And so CUTE! we used the Scallop, the Photo Corners, the 1 1/4 Circle, and the 1 3/8 Circle <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/itemlist.aspx?categoryID=60">punches</a></div><div></div><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDp5ZqbcnI/AAAAAAAAAQA/u987UdY-uNY/s1600-h/spider.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5255957937492030066" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDp5ZqbcnI/AAAAAAAAAQA/u987UdY-uNY/s320/spider.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>For our next project we used the new Pillow Box die from Stampin Up! I love how easy these dies are to use, in no time flat you have a great treat for classrooms, sports teams, handouts really anything!! We used Tangerine Tango cs for the box, and the new Kiwi Kiss ribbon, for our tag we used a stamp from "Eat Drink and Be Scary" available now in the new Holiday Mini Catalog. To get the variety of color we colored on the stamp with old olive, pumpkin pie and basic black stampin write markers.</div><div></div><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDp5CQN0rI/AAAAAAAAAP4/tICxfaM2YmE/s1600-h/treatbox.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5255957931208069810" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDp5CQN0rI/AAAAAAAAAP4/tICxfaM2YmE/s320/treatbox.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div></div><div>And for our final project we made a boxy bag...you'll find a great tutorial on how to make this bag yourself <a href="http://confessionsofaribbonaddict.blogspot.com/2008/08/boxy-bag-directions.html">HERE</a>. I loved how this turned out, I started with and Perfect Plum cs base, and embellished with <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=112463">Ghostly Greetings dsp </a>from Stampin Up. A little more ribbon and a brad finished off this cute box.</div><div> </div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDqBcH2lNI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/nM8IRieIYGM/s1600-h/boxybag.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5255958075591267538" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SPDqBcH2lNI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/nM8IRieIYGM/s320/boxybag.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>I hope the girls had fun and enjoyed making their projects...see you next month!</div></div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-49630705979030852572008-09-24T12:17:00.000-07:002008-09-24T12:24:56.873-07:00Halloween Treat BagSo, I am getting so excited for Halloween this year...Halloween is not usually my favorite holiday but for some reason this year I can't wait for it to come. Maybe part of that is the fact that there is SO much cute Halloween stuff EVERYWHERE! From paper and embellishments to fabric and home decor...I love it all! Anyway I got this cute stamp set from the new Stampin Up mini catalog...only a few more days until you can order....anyway I am always looking for ways to make little treat bags, between my son's various sports, my little girl's dance class, and school we always have a need for small easy to assemble treat bags! <div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNqTHVa_x2I/AAAAAAAAAPo/3_eOBoUTlOs/s1600-h/Halloweenbag.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5249670069872478050" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNqTHVa_x2I/AAAAAAAAAPo/3_eOBoUTlOs/s320/Halloweenbag.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>This box was actually pre-scored and ready to assemble when I got them, a package of like 30 for 1 dollar at the scrapbook expo last week. So I just added the ribbon and a little tag for the front, I found this glitter also in a dollar bin the black was a little "too" chunky, but oh well it will work until my <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=108797">Chunky Glitter </a>from Stampin Up arrives! Thanks for stopping by...have a great day!</div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-83682673155221757002008-09-24T12:06:00.000-07:002008-09-24T12:17:01.107-07:00Cosmo's anyone??<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNqQmxgKACI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/IIpkQMProR4/s1600-h/sitc-poster.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5249667311451373602" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNqQmxgKACI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/IIpkQMProR4/s320/sitc-poster.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />Have you seen this movie yet?? I did and I loved it, my sister is definately a "New Yorker" and the movie makes me think of her and the life she lives...she always has something going on and I love to hear her stories! Anyway she just got a new apartment and I wanted to send her a card to let her know how excited I was for her and what better way to celebrate than with a "cosmopolitan" so here's to my sister! I wish I could have figured out how to photograph this card a little better, all the pink is glitter and man does it sparkle!! The martini is actually a vinyl sticker~isn't it fun?? Okay I am signing out, but thanks for stopping by and if you haven't had a chance to catch Sex in the City, swing by redbox tonight...it was released yesterday!! <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNqQnkOEULI/AAAAAAAAAPg/-MF2Fxkl3Jg/s1600-h/martini1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5249667325065711794" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNqQnkOEULI/AAAAAAAAAPg/-MF2Fxkl3Jg/s320/martini1.jpg" border="0" /></a>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-5568191152316471042008-09-21T19:54:00.000-07:002008-09-21T20:24:12.416-07:00Happy Birthday WSC#58Look at this, two weeks in a row and I am actually making a card for <a href="http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/09/19/weekend-sketch-challenge-58/">Beate's WSC </a>wow! I can't even believe it, and scroll down too because you'll see I played in another challenge too! I rock!! Just kidding, I am really not quite that cocky, but I am proud I was able to create a few cards this weekend. This card I made for a friend of mine who is having a birthday tomorrow~HAPPY BIRTHDAY B!!~ I wanted to use black white and red as a color combo and I've had this great paper from Scenic Route laying around so that was my inspiration...the hard part was deciding which sides of the paper to use...I hate when double sided paper is equally cute on each side!! :) Anyway this card was really simple not too much stamping, only the sentiment which I stamped on the inside. I hope she likes it and I hope you do too...thanks for looking! <div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcJMG2kT9I/AAAAAAAAAOg/DCEGd08rul8/s1600-h/wsc58.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248673994326167506" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcJMG2kT9I/AAAAAAAAAOg/DCEGd08rul8/s200/wsc58.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcJSOewy9I/AAAAAAAAAOo/QVBUg7kka4c/s1600-h/WSC1.jpg"></a></div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcJMG2kT9I/AAAAAAAAAOg/DCEGd08rul8/s1600-h/wsc58.jpg"></a></div><div></div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcJSOewy9I/AAAAAAAAAOo/QVBUg7kka4c/s1600-h/WSC1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248674099453021138" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcJSOewy9I/AAAAAAAAAOo/QVBUg7kka4c/s320/WSC1.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcJSOewy9I/AAAAAAAAAOo/QVBUg7kka4c/s1600-h/WSC1.jpg"></a></div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-39190851511334209562008-09-21T19:34:00.000-07:002008-09-21T19:52:10.820-07:00Challenge Minus the Cupcake...Have you checked out this <a href="http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/">BLOG</a> yet? Taylor issues a cupcake challenge each week, and this week I thought I would play along...now you don't have to use cupcakes, and as you can see I didn't but I liked this sketch so much, I just might make another one...a little "sweeter"!<br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcFJwKKQCI/AAAAAAAAAOY/6nutsA9jOb8/s1600-h/TECC34_(sketch).jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248669555828080674" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcFJwKKQCI/AAAAAAAAAOY/6nutsA9jOb8/s200/TECC34_(sketch).jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcE41VoccI/AAAAAAAAAOI/sKuKaoykVgU/s1600-h/TCC2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248669265160597954" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNcE41VoccI/AAAAAAAAAOI/sKuKaoykVgU/s320/TCC2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />I just got a few new things from Stampin Up and I was so excited to use them...I LOVE the vintage kindof old fashiony (is that a word?) feel of this new stamp set Winter Post<br />~available OCT 1~ I colored the image with my Aqua-painters using Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, and Red Riding Hood classic ink pads. The paper, Ski Slope, is also in the mini, can I just say I LOVE this paper...I thought it was great in the catty, but in real life oh, I am going to be needing lots of this!<br />The brad is from the Filigree Brad assortment and I have to laugh when I tell you about the ribbon, first have you ever worn a hoodie sweatshirt or jacket and have the strings just get in the way?? Well my kids always pull on them and then one side is longer than the other and bla bla...anyway to make my long story a little shorter I had a brown jacket and I took the string out of the hoodie because it was driving me nuts, but I couldn't let it go to waste and so yep that is the ribbon I added to my card...perfect color and texture and everything! I know I am wierd...but who hasn't looked in odd places to find the just right embellishment?<br />Thanks for stopping by!Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-14311513290033935792008-09-17T17:15:00.000-07:002008-09-18T15:24:10.264-07:00Kristina's Color Challenge #23<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNGeOdTr_GI/AAAAAAAAAN4/vJOifYD1hwc/s1600-h/23cardchallenge2.jpg"></a><a href="http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/index.html"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247149005187002354" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SNGeODm3L_I/AAAAAAAAANw/ouaN1DXMRfc/s320/091608-colorinspiration.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>Woosh, I almost missed this one, but I am sliding in with a few minutes to spare. That's okay for me though because it means I am only a few more days away from the <a href="http://www.scrapbookusaexpo.com/">Scrapbook Expo</a>...I am so excited, this event comes twice a year and is a great way to drain the pocketbook!!! I love to go see all the new ideas, and best of all take advantage of all the great deals! </div><div>This weekend I went to a farewell party for a coworker that is leaving to Germany for 18 months, she had mentioned she would be needing stationary and cards while she was away and so I made this for her as a little going away gift. My club girls come and we make a variety of projects. This month we did two cards. <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM16ofzZA3I/AAAAAAAAAMY/HUBfWJ90KB8/s1600-h/club1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5245983977106899826" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM16ofzZA3I/AAAAAAAAAMY/HUBfWJ90KB8/s320/club1.jpg" border="0" /></a> <div></div><div>I loved the pocket card from this <a href="http://mystampstuff.blogspot.com/2008/09/2-sketches-4-you.html">POST</a> so much, I decided to have it be one of our projects. We started with 4x4 Kiwi Kiss base and layed some of the great new Halloween paper (Ghostly Greetings) onto it, the accent cs is Pumpkin Pie and Basic Grey. We used images from </div><div>Batty For You, to make the circle piece first we stamped in versamark ink and embossed in with black EP, and then stamped the image again in Pumpkin Pie using the 1" circle punch, punched out the pumpkin and popped it out with some dimensionals. </div><div></div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM16omdoh8I/AAAAAAAAAMg/ABLRgsVvLBQ/s1600-h/friend2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5245983978894690242" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM16omdoh8I/AAAAAAAAAMg/ABLRgsVvLBQ/s320/friend2.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div></div><div>For our next card we used Pocket Silhouettes, (which is ON SALE until the end of this month, you can even buy it ON-LINE!) We used Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, and Baja Breeze cs. We stamped on the Pacific Point piece with white stazon, and popped out the center piece using the new Scallop Square punch and dimensionals. We finished off the card with a little clip~ I love those little library clips don't you! Thanks for stopping by! </div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-77877779819479993352008-09-14T13:39:00.000-07:002008-09-14T14:08:36.982-07:00Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM13hMLPtpI/AAAAAAAAAL4/GCC8wsYJY6g/s1600-h/wsc57.jpg"></a><br />Hi!!<br /><div>So I am finally playing along with <a href="http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/09/12/weekend-sketch-challenge-57/">Beate's WSC</a>!! I am so proud that I actually did it, she has such amazing sketches and as usual (for me) I look at them a think I'll make a card, and then get distracted with life and the card never gets made. But Saturday night my husband and son went to a football game and I got in a little stampin time! I actually have a few projects to show, but for now...here is my take on Beates challenge. I wish I had a cute Halloween sentiment, but all the ones I had were too big, or didn't fit the "look", oh well I liked it anyway and I hope you do too!</div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM13osWj1OI/AAAAAAAAAMI/2Uu_n85l4sY/s1600-h/wsc57.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5245980681940751586" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM13osWj1OI/AAAAAAAAAMI/2Uu_n85l4sY/s200/wsc57.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM13hc-HGFI/AAAAAAAAAMA/nvvAPNALL4A/s1600-h/WSC.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5245980557552588882" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ruvK2rRxlCM/SM13hc-HGFI/AAAAAAAAAMA/nvvAPNALL4A/s320/WSC.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div>Don't you just LOVE those shoes?? I picked up that stamp last year at Michael's in their dollar bin, I colored in the tights with my aqua-painters using Tangerine Tango and Elegant Eggplant. I add some sparkle to the buckles with my Celery Cosmo glitter. I stamped the other images (from Autumn Apparitions) in Basic black. I swiped all the edges of my cardstock across my black ink to give just a little bit of a sponged look. I really like how the Elegant Eggplant, Tangerine Tango, and Wild Wasabi (anyone else missing this color?) worked together! </div>Shellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02473888715491100608noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4258735890061360805.post-37810161565462188162008-09-12T18:38:00.001-07:002008-09-12T18:43:20.683-07:00More Chances to Win!THANK GOODNESS ITS FRIDAY!
